Deburring is a common method for removing burrs from CNC machined parts, especially for complex shapes and hard-to-reach areas. We will arrange the deburring process step by step.
Before starting the deburring process, we will choose the following tools and materials.
• Files: for grinding and smoothing the edges of the part.
•Sandpaper: For sanding the surface of the part to make it smooth.
•Deburring Knife: For removing larger burrs.
Polishing Tools: For final fine grinding and polishing
We often carefully inspect the machined part to identify the locations and sizes of the burrs. And choose the appropriate tools and methods based on the characteristics of the burrs
We use files to grind and smooth the edges and surfaces of the part to remove larger burrs. For smalller burrs and areas requiring fine sanding, we use sandpaper. For areas that are difficult to reach with files and sandpaper, then we must use a deburring knife. Finally, we will use polishing tools for fine grinding and polishing to achieve the desired finish. Polishing tools can include polishing cloths, wheels, or other specialized polishing equipment.
Even though deburring is a bit time-consuming, but it has irreplaceable advantages in dealing with complex shapes and small areas. We pay attention to every detail, so we carefully inspect the part to ensure all burrs have been removed and the surface is smooth and free of defects. And After deburring, we also clean the part with compressed air or a cleaning cloth to remove any residual material.
